My bachelor thesis examines how brands today go beyond their economic function to create emotional bonds, a sense of belonging, and collective worldviews, and why they have become remarkably similar to religious systems. The accompanying artwork, “Die Heilige Schrift der Kultmarken,” translates these observations into a visual manifesto: a fictional Bible told from the perspective of the brand. Created at FH JOANNEUM Graz, where it received an excellent distinction for its conceptual depth and artistic execution.
